Philotes.

In this world of Wine,
your souls, all of you, are delightful tannins.
I have tried hard to decant your friendship into
a blossoming love...
But! Just as clouds obscure the sun when we need it most,
so it is with you.
I looked for a Kung-Fu Girl
And all I've found are Burgundy's,
and Ornellia's.
The soft love from the bulbs of your hearts,
I suppose,  are better than being exposed under beating stage lights.
So, you beautiful sprites, just hold me in a gentle blanket
and carry me to a better moonlit shore.
