Lay Down (and don't forget to lose it)

Spoon your tears over
fairy tales
forget to be
human

Cry one too many
times
fall and start your
next disaster

Lie in broken bones
Baby's blood is the
sweetest thing,
lemon-fresh ruination

Chase your demons,
they heed to your
screams
trapping you down

Mona trips
and
Penelope eyes
never get you far

So fall and start your
next disaster
running after dreams
and the dead

How can you bear
to look upon your hands?
