Lamp of God

The lamp of God
Shining among the
shadows
Where my soul
often hides

The lord my God
Lights up the darkness
inside my mind

In the dark tunnels
of depression
A smoldering light of
God shines
Deep in the distance
a flicker of a flame is alive
Leading my soul out
of the madness inside

The lamp of God
shines brightly
As he places a still small
flame inside
To help burn the darkness
away from my heart and
mind

It is the lords lamp
That still burns inside
When my days are dark
God's light
Still burns a flame in the
night
Even when I can't see
It burns inside my life.

It is you who lights my lamp,The lord my God lights up my darkness.(psalms--18:28)
When my days are dark,I know God's small flame burns within my life.
When the fog of depression rolls across my life, his lighthouse shines so bright.
