Irrelevant Life Mysteries

What is Death?
Our end.
A mere figure.
A deadly force.

Is it for us to know?
Or to guess wildly.
Or even blindly accept.

Why must we meet this stranger?
Can we not be ended in familiarity?

Will these questions mean a thing when we meet?
