Field theory

Columbus said you could go east by traveling west,
And that was a scary thing,
Sea monsters were out there waiting for stupid people,
and the iron mountain would pull nails right out the ship,
Even Copernicus said,
that the sun moved around the earth,
after the church invited him to live in prison,
Newtonian gravity,
Quantum mechanics,
Relativity,
String theory?
Can’t know how many hundreds of thousands of years,
We ate meat raw,
Then found it tasted pretty good cooked,
And if someone hadn’t discovered the wheel,
I’d still be toting my luggage around the airport,
It was only yesterday people thought eating a tomato would kill you,
I wouldn’t have eat one,
Would you?
I’d still be eating meat raw,
But not a tomato.
