Danger Ahead

by Angela

I walk in silence
down a cold dark street

Searching for a place to be released
somewhere that the pain will cease

I know the dangers of striving alone
but, it's better than living with an angry tone

Hope is never truely lost
yet we search with endless cost

I know what lerks ahead
I go on and challenge the dead

For when the sunshines big and bright
I will know I made it through a another silent night
