Chapters One and Two

Open the book and
         BAM!!!
Right in the face
Screams Chapter One

"SHE STOOD BY THE WINDOW
AS RAIN DRENCHED HER POODLE"

Begin to wonder
Why her poodle is outside
Is it a punishment?
Is there a jail poodle among us?

The megaphone changes hands
And Chapter Two asserts

"WELCOME TO THE RAT RACE
FRIENDS, BE SURE TO PICK UP
YOUR CAP AND GOWN"

At the door, you wonder
Only to conclude that this
Book is nonsensical, surely
Or at least not for the
Faint of heart
