Bus Stop Bench

Sitting at the bus stop bench
Making odd faces to the rain

Watching for a bus that never comes
Distracted by the city light and noise

Wood rot, cement legs, poor paint job
Advertisement ghosts peeling and flaking away

Stranded here on a forgotten bus stop bench
Waiting for a bus that never comes
