Breath

Oh Everest
your breath fills my lungs again
but I can't climb you now
there's no strength left in these bones
so I'll be satisfied with your air inside my chest

The peak it laughs at me
and I know I'll never see
the sunrise over all the world again

Cause the bitter cold it brings me down
all the beauty in the world can't drown
this aching in my body will not cease
