Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961)
"Arsiero, Asiago…"

Arsiero, Asiago,
    Half a hundred more,
Little border villages,
    Back before the war,
Monte Grappa, Monte Corno,
    Twice a dozen such,
In the piping times of peace
    Didn't come to much.
