a Lover not a Leash

Maybe it’s easier just to leave because I can’t take this in-between,
her secrets are like rain and I’m rusting.
She’s a spark of creativity in a draw back way.
I better leave now, while these are still my days.

I need a lover not a leash, but where there’s beauty there’s a beast.
