A Lonely Heart

To the lonely heart,
Please hang in there.
I know what you are going through,
And I know it’s tough to go through it alone.

Suffering for nearly all your life,
And no one around to hear you.
Your cries for help heard only by,
Yourself keep getting louder.
Still no one is around to hear them.

Every morning you wake up next to,
An empty pillow beside you.
And every night you fall asleep next to,
That same empty pillow.

I know it’s hard to walk down,
A crowded sidewalk, and yet,
Feel as though you are Invisible,
To everyone around you.

To the lonely heart,
Please hang in there.
I know what you are going through,
And I know it’s tough to go through it alone.
