...and today
no seat
no one gave way
to the old dude

they're busy on Facebook
and me?
I'll be an entry in
Doctor Finlay's
casebook.

These are desperate times.

I should go off on one,
show them the error
of their ways
difficult days like these
make me want to slug
it out
and the last man standing
wins.

Some little ******* grins at me
as if to say,
tough *****
it's
a ******' pity they did away
with the death penalty
he'd be a prime candidate.

I wait and wait
and
at Liverpool Street
a space becomes vacant
vacated by the guy
with the vacant look
on his face

what a place this has turned
out to be,
you can take your twenty first
century unsociability
and poke it where the Sun
don't shine.

In time
the architect of time
will decide that
enough
is as good as a feast.
