A fleeting image,
Black to white.
Dissolving into the night.
A lingering smile,
Burnt upon your soul.
Never leaving your twisted mind.
Haunting my mind,
Pulling at my soul.
Eating away from my light.
A black abyss,
Cradling my soul.
Haunting me, pulling me.
A fleeting image of light,
Corrupted by the dark.
I write often of my depression, this is one of those times.
