Way back when, when I was young and poor
I packed my bags and thumbed to the shore.

I had hiked down the road just barely a mile
When she pulled over and flashed me a smile

I hopped into the cab and couldn’t help but stare
She had legs up to there – and boobs to spare

Her smile was big and her teeth shown white
They glistened and enticed in the morning light

I slid over a little and leaned in for  a kiss
But my face hit something and I swear I missed

I tried a different angle but there was no way around
From the bottom or the side, no path could be found

No matter which way I tried it acted as a shield
Keeping those lovely lips forever concealed.

Something I wrote a while back on another site.
