gravity is only a theory,
and my feet won't touch the ground
the apples may fall,
but i'll keep reading my book underneath the tree, anyway
my bones have only shaken due to cold temperatures in your eyes
and the frostbite stings a bit more than i'd expected
but it's worth the chill to melt again later
when our friction creates a fire between us
starting fires was always a hobby of mine
and although my grass is no longer green
i sort of enjoy this better, anyway
don't take things so literally. this is poetry
