Can you see me?
No
I'm standing right in front of you.
You're not bright enough.
Oh.Β Β Can you hear me?
No
I'm singing in your ear.
You don't know the words
Oh.Β Β Can you feel me?
No, I can't.
But I'm holding you so close.
But you're not dancing
Will you dance with me?
You don't know how
Will you teach me?
You'll never learn
Oh.
You're bleeding
I know.
Does it hurt?
Yes.
*Oh.
Wrote this when I was in high school, over 30 years ago.
