I like this quote:"The rage, for it's MAN who built each wall,
who has locked himself in concrete, is he afraid of nature?" ~La Rage

Harmless impossiblity
Sparks intentional ignorance
Towers with greed shadows over motes
Pit fires in the distance battle the skyline
Heavy breathing
Longing
Realities collide in violence
Borders are a death veil
No matter the side
We all
Cross
The line

"I won't die"

Spirits moan of slaughter in barbed wire prisons
encampments set fire to generations
death ships tattered sails return no more
after storms conquest killed hate
only by coincidence
dynasties build walls so high the future can't scale
in a world where even the most tolerant kingdoms fall in self edification
language is buried and resurrected into  cunning disguised as kindness
thieves hung up with their identity
metal upon metal clash as lancets are stained in blood
civilians are cold retinas starring into the sun for answers
years go by the hundreds
war is like a fine silk
who wouldn't notice
insurgent memories competing for their shores
is it really a disease that makes them forget
a crow perches its feet on their profile
soldiers reach for Heaven in a mushroom cloud

The Living hear the sound
only piling dirt

Tears are words pursued
for those confident they would never write a Eulogy

#war   #life   #hate   #fire   #death   #tears   #darkness   #eulogy   #octave

That is the beautiful thing about quotes. They are so open ended and universal that even a Convict could strike a cord and resonate something deeply human in you.

The way things are going in directions opposite of arrival
I try to ease the stress and pain that has been on the rise
with all sweet words and caring I can offer any reassurance
the world doesn't stop kicking when your down
and for that I'm sorry
Let me cradle you in my arms
taking the brunt of the damage

Victory sides with personal consentual reality sweet morality
unimposed. Don't cry religious
philosophy. Love happens without segregation
dispite guilty feelings. Behind closets closed.
Human beings should be respected above comforting dogmatic teachings. Intolerance doesn't hide, as it turns out and
will leave you praying in place as the world  keeps spinning. Love always breaks free.
Logics pace. Feel that pass you? The confidence. While you
coddle your hate? Winds of change. Enjoy your empty primises.
As we find our way out of a petty attempt at prophetical prose. Give more reasons to give. Equality now. What is next-

Tragedy vanished
for splitting atoms in wait
rejoice tempting ways

Wall punch lithium
orange bottles glint night stand
silence whatever
