More stars than sounds and words,
Though they were spoken into existence.

Billions of stars and galaxies,
It's not about us.

Like a fruit salad in the universe,
The Planets in a bowl.

The heavens declare His glory,
The stars are a small taste of it.
The heavens declare the glory of God.

The caterpillars preach their sermons,
Crickets string their choirs,
Under the shade of Broadleaf.

Beetles teach their classes,
The sunlight shines through the foliage,
In the morning at Broadleaf.

The leaves are green,
The airport of insects is blue,
A canopy above Broadleaf.
Broadleaf is a place where a bunch of bugs live in the early spring morning.

You give me hope, for in my wayward days,
God sent you to lift me up,
And lead me through the haze.
You aren't Him,
But He gave me your heart,
From His grace and lovingkindness,
Planned all from the start.
You're a promise of God and none will compare,
For you are a promise and it's simply unfair.
For my "Promise of God" :) (I'm getting rusty on poetry)

I'll be there for you, to the ends of the earth I'll go,
I'll find you when your lost, through storms and biting snow.

I'll help bring you closer, to The Father in the sky,
And I will always love you, even when you die.

When the light bulb's broken, I won't get another dwelling,
I'll just fix our hearts to shine again until with love they're swelling.

I love you over all the world, from the mountains to the seas,
From Earth to Heaven and back again through every deathly disease.

Thank you for always loving me, despite the uneven odds,
I know you're something special, your heart belongs to God.
Just a love poem. (I seem to be really good at this XD)

My lovely lady, a poem in her beauty,
Tosses her hair, and walks with grace,
Protecting her is my duty.

She's a poem all throughout, the inside is what counts,
Deeper in meaning, with a loving heart,
Her kindness is no limited amount.

I love my lady poem, she has beauty in her soul,
God has blessed her pretty face,
And she's as gifted as a burning coal.

I love her more than ever, she's a poem in her heart,
I thank the Lord she's here with me,
And pray she won't depart.
For my friend. :)

I know it's been awhile,
And I'm busy all the time,
But just because we're far apart,
Doesn't mean we won't be fine.
(Slight instrumental no chorus)

Your friendship is in my hands,
A lump of watery clay,
Don't think I'll forget you,
Because I couldn't bring that pain.

Chorus
It always comes home, I pray for your soul,
When demons and monsters surround it whole,
I pray that the angel of light in your heart,
Finds its way home, and never departs,
Never departs, never departs,
Finds its way home and never departs.

You're going to the outside world,
It's a very dangerous river,
I'm warning you, it's not what you think,
So bring a bow and quiver.

Chorus
It always comes home, I pray for your soul,
When demons and monsters surround it whole,
I pray that the angel of light in your heart,
Finds its way home, and never departs,
Never departs, never departs,
Finds its way home and never departs.

You've been brought up by demons,
Who want you in Hell,
I'm trying to help you right now!
You're under The Dragon's spell.

Chorus
It always comes home, I pray for your soul,
When demons and monsters surround it whole,
I pray that the angel of light in your heart,
Finds its way home, and never departs,
Never departs, never departs,
Finds its way home and never departs.

I'm glad you got through,
The hard part of your life,
I'm here to help you,
If only here to soften your strife.

Chorus
It always comes home, I pray for your soul,
When demons and monsters surround it whole,
I pray that the angel of light in your heart,
Finds its way home, and never departs,
Never departs, never departs,
Finds its way home and never departs.
A song for a friend that I won't see for a long time.

Good things to those who do not heed,
The words of darkness but are freed,
To
     the infinite
                         light.
Not on the road of evil, nor in the seat of shame,
But the best of life is for belief in His name,
Meditation
                    day
                           and night.
A tree that's firmly rooted, on the river's border,
A living infinity of diligent labor, of order,
This
        is
             the good.
Dark ones are not so, flowing like chaff in the wind,
They will not stand when judged, those that sinned,
Before
           assemblies
                              of saints.
He knows the way of good, our Lord and master,
And as through His great power, The Dark perishes faster,
The Dark
                will be
                            no more.
A poem based on Psalm 1 in the Bible. A psalm was an ancient Hebrew poem so I figured I'd make a modern one.
