Her soul grabbed the moon
As she tucked it inside her heart
She said from this day on
We will never part

That moon has been with her
Since birth
She doesn't remember
It holds no ones name

She called it faith
She said that moon
You refer too is not
The same one I use

Mine is of gravitational flights
High in The air
Of sleeping off daylight
Just to capture The night air

Of addicts pour and
Brokens sad state

I say The moon
Is ours
I just saved your soul

I don't think she was capable of love.

Just fits of lust; I was worshipped like the moon
and forgotten on a cloudy night.

Some might question the appeal, or
lack the fortitude for being discarded

But not every man can claim being a moon god.

There is an actress
who always plays the dark parts
in my dreams handcuffed
to the moon with black seams
in her stockings asking me
to paint her behind
the scenes in the fifty-est
shades of red
you've ever seen.
Fifty-est? :)

Last night drinking
cherry cured 'shine
from Tennessee
I caught the moon
flinching behind
a tree like a white
flower afraid to be
cut from its dark stalk
whereas in the spring
when I'm sober
it grows outside my
window before daylight
when moths come
and die gently while
I lie here listening
to their silent soft wings
dreaming of bleeding
in my sleep and find
no trace of a wound
aching in the harsh red cut
of another day breaking.
Smundies.

I watch the light from your eyes,
the memories along those distant tides,
through the rivers and icy lies,
I sing to you,
and give you the moon.

Vines and willows brush you face,
caressing the seasons and changing grace
while sleeping in fields, the leaves now lay,
I sing to you,
and give you the moon.

Loveless songs by eve of night,
among the seas of candlelight,
the dreamers dance to sounds of midnight,
I sing to you,
and give you the moon,

Flowers along those broken bends,
the celestial petals the blossoms tend,
you murmur the names of lovers and friends,
I sing to you,
and give you the moon.

I lull you to sleep with your hands in mine,
as shadows befall through the thickness of time.
I watch your breaths fade from everlasting sighs.
Still, I sing to you,
and give you the moon.

Only the moon
Defines our day
With orbit

Only sunshine
Allows our life

Only our ***
Creates our people

Only your love
Made me whole

Now moon drifts away
3.87 centimetres
Each year

The night shall stretch
And die

You left
All at once

Only I cry
I cry
I cry
