There weren't a ton of places I even wanted to be - so I figured right here was fine.

Frightened, yes. You were still strange to me - despite your lips being just the ones I needed to find.

The rocking didn't stop, the lights were unkind, and I thought how much better it would have been to stay til the end of the party and walk to the train and wait til morning for Jersey.
