I am but a lost soul....

Poems

Mar 15

I sit in my room and try to imagine my future
I cant
Not for lack of imagination or lack of trying
But for the lack of purpose

I see no reason to walk on the path of others
And i see no reason to start my own

My family looks to me for the future
I smile and tell them it is bright

They do not see that i myself am in the dark

Pain
Sadness
Loneliness

But a few words to describe me

Apr 28, 2012

I'm tired...

Everyday
I die by the minute

Every hour
I cry for relief

This world is built on pain

From the banishment of Eden
To this moment

This world knows no joy

To cry is meaningless
To complain is meaningless

To die...

This is a work in progress. Help and/correction is gladly welcomed

To Death be the glory
Great things it has done.

To Death be respect
For non can outrun

Oh reaper
Oh killer, slayer of men

Take me swiftly, take me gently
Take me now if you can

Better to have never loved, than to have loved and been left in the cold alone with a broken heart.

Better to have told me in the start that you weren't going to stay, than to let me build a mansion in which every night i will spend alone.

Better to have never said i love you, if you didn't mean forever.

What i am to them is an ornament.
My value is determined by the scales they use.

Freedom is a dream that looks far from reality.
Freedom is for the full who's destined for poverty.

A puppet of their play, they control me with strings.
Make me dance the mariet and clap hands and their so called brilliance.

A pawn in their game, they expect me to win.
Feed me steroids of spiritual wisdom and belief, to become the warrior destined to free them from their doom and misery.

The mascot they use to boost their fame.
Expect me to tell the world, they're the reason i am this way.
A well disciplined, obedient good mannered boy.

Parents and teacher.
The wardens of teenagers.
The tormentors of my soul.

With a leash around my neck i bow to drink.
Commands telling me where to step and how to breath.

They claim to know what i truelly need.

Know whats best. What will make me succeed.

Yet deny me life and the right to live.

They dont trust my words, call me rash and impatiant.
Believe i'm a teenager who knows not right from wrong.

To be free, what should i do?
Runaway from home or commit teenage suicide.

They think they know best.
When really, they dont know who i am at all.

Killing myself is not an option, but killing everyone around me is.

To be honest this life is a bore.
Everyday gets harder, and each step seems further away.

Am i to give up because of the challenges?

Am i to succum to their wim?
Bow like a servant and bark like a dog?

Believe their hypocrital lies and apply them to my life?

Do they wish to chain me with their instructions?
Tell me to behave when they're the ones breaking every commandment with no remorse.

Tell me to respect while they judge us for our past mistakes and point fingers while we pass.

Am i to be what they want me to be? Or be free.

I'm not perfect, i'v made my mistakes.
I regret my past and fear the future.

The world is cursed, and it cries with the pain of loss and rejection.

Betrayal
Lies
Adultery
Love

Pawns in a game played by the heart.

Truth
Loyalty
Passion
Hope

Allusions conjured by the clouded and misguided.

Depraved souls
Dammed from birth

Humanity is dieing
Crumbling away

Loosing the battle
To an enemy seen only by reflection

Who should i say my heart is given to?

The rose of my garden which has such beautiful petals
Who bestows an aroma only fit for angels

Or should i say the beauty that hath slayen the beast
The fairest of fair which chose an undeserving me

Oh who oh who should i sayest art thou?

Who keeps the key, that locks my heart.
Who has become the reason i now chirp with love

Oh who oh who is this maiden?
Oh who is my love
who is my angel

I have found the stone most precious to man

I have found the dime worth more than life itself

I have found
What many never find

I have found her
Or better yet
She has found me

Do you know how much i care? How much i worry? How much i hope we stand the test of time and age together?

Do you believe my words? Do you see my tears? Do you feel my pain and know my love exists?

Are we more or just another? Am i forever or till you grow tired?

Am i your one? Or just a number

Hath the world known beauty, it would recognise her

Discovering what many die longing for

Hath love and kindness but a face, its lips would be succulent with sweet nectar

Its skin would be as soft as the velvet robes of persian kings

And eyes as bright as the northern stars that point to my heart

Hath beauty known the beast

She would have known i exist.

I'll never allow you to leave me
Never let you walk the road alone
You're place is by my side
Where you belong is marked as where my love resides

Even nature sees that we're ment to be
The flowers bloom at the sight of our love
The bees hum a song
And the birds join the tune with a sweet sound

Why defy what the stars have written?
Why ignore what you feel for me?
So it is written
So let us be

Together held by each others arms
Together walking each step with love

Succulent lips that have become my indulgence.
Finely shaped, is it wrong to say they're perfect?

Indisputable tenderness, creating sensations of pure happiness.
Moments with them are eternal pleasures in minutes of passion.

Inspiring stars to fall, convincing gravitation to hold back its attraction and lift us up until we reach the heavens.
Kiss among the planets while the stars float around us dancing.

Kiss eternally

Kissing my only.

Memphis to Girl: Come away with me to a land of dreams, a land as sweet as the nectar of the bees.

Girl to Memphis: In this land will you be mine? Will you forever be by my side?

Memphis to Girl: I'll be your sunrise when you wake, the sunset when you sleep. I'll carry your dreams in my heart, your words will be my guides in life.

Girl to Memphis: The words you speak ignite my heart, but will we make it alone in a world we don't know?

Memphis to Girl: For you to be on my side in that world, i will have already made it in ways this world we'll never feel or even know.

When looking for a girl we always look for the fairest,
say we want that rose,
that girl so perfect.

The beauty of the petals captivates and calls you closer.
The fragrance they give captures the victim in a deceptive aroma.

But go deeper down and you'll see her true beauty.
Deeper down to the depths of her deception.

The true beauty of the flower is revealed underneath.

The thorns of this rose will rip you open with lies and deceit.

Leave you bleeding and removed of your dignity,
not believing that such a beauty could do this to you.

Her fragrance will no longer smell so sweet. The colour of her petals will remind you of the pain they give,
hatred will blosom from you within,
for the rose ripped you open and cut through your skin.

Penetrated your heart with a knife you helped build.

That kiss you cherished.

That love which destroyed you from within.

Girl to boy: Take me away, take me in your arms so strong and tender.

Boy to girl: Come closer my love, for let us be together. The worlds an evil place, but our love shall be our fortress.

Girl to boy: In your arms i feel safe, under your chin i find rest.

Boy to girl: In your words i find love, in your eyes my soul finds rest.

Girl to boy: Do you love me as the stars love the night? As thieves love gold? Do you love me or are those just words you know?

Boy to girl: Stars may not be seen on cloudy nights, but in times of trouble i'll be there for you. Thieves run away as soon as trouble comes, but i'll turn around and protect you from harm. The words i know i use in my books, the words you hear are formed by my heart for you.

Girl to boy: Love me, care for me, dont leave me.

Boy to girl: Until the sun becomes dark, until the earth becomes desolate, i'll love you till eternity ends.

The lips that create a sensation so wild.
The hands so soft, love felt in every touch.

I miss every inch of you that there is to love.
I miss every satisfaction you bring when your around.

The hair so clean, shiny in its pure blackness. Softly i touch it, as your head draws closer for our moments of passion.

Your body so warm, tender with love.

Slowly we cuddle, slowly i find more reason to love you.

Your voice so gentle, sweet when you call my name. In silence i wait for you to call me, to tell me you love me with words so caring.

I wait in patience for moments with you.
I'd wait eternilly if i had to.

Cause for you my eternity i'd give up, if i'd get a moment in your arms before i die.

Heaven has beauty the world will never see,
peace the world will never have,
and angels the world will never know.

Yet i have found a beauty amongst the nations,
peace in a smile that calms my storms,
and an angel in a world full of evil.

This angel has become salvation to my lips,
redemption to my heart,
a blessing i cherich dearly,
and an eden to the world me and her are building.

The fruit of this garden is the love we share,
the happiness we bring,
the memories we make,
and the moments i'll never forget.

She's my heaven on earth,
my joy in a world full of hurt.

She's my girl.

My world.

She's the angel undeserving to live in this world.

When i was thirteen i had my first love
Life seemed like paradise
I was still young

Now i'm eighteen
And i'v had a million loves
The paradise is lost
And my journey in this cruel world has just begun
