(1991 - Present) Riley Moreadhiel Adair is my penname.
I chose to stand behind this name because I want to be known, not by my family, but strictly as my work.
I first began writing at a very young age, completing my first 25-page short story as a class project when I was 9. Writing has since become my main passion, and the ultimate pursuit in my life.
Poetry has been a healing and expressive art to me- I have better gotten personal feelings across through abstract lilts than in normal social conversation. Everything I write down is an extension of a thought, of a dream, of a feeling, or of all the above.
I am currently trying to put together a book of my own poetry in pursuits of publication. What I post here will be the finalists in choosing, or work that I found to be personally some of my best.

Your Journey Stars at Midnight. by Riley M Adair
...
I'm proud to say I've come a long way
from stumbling through the briars,
stuck in the overgrown brambles
It was nothing more than I could handle,
though I did not know that then

Goodness. by Riley M Adair
...
It’s a runaway train heading towards a crowd.
You’re all dead now.
You’re all dead now.
Keep treading in your wading pools
too scared to face the sea
