Jude MurphyThe Fight between Heaven and Hell by <unnamed>  Jan 3, 2011
I suppose any amount of torture could be made worse if one knew that "heaven" was the alternative.
It reminds me of a Venom lyric:
"Live like an angel die like a devil - got a place in Hell reserved for me, live like an angel die like a devil - gonna burn in Hell, it's where I want to be!" haha

The moments that somehow serve to define all of those that follow. Like some sort of common, amusing, often blissful form of trauma!

Jude MurphyChristmas Faces by Galman Frederick Ferguson  Dec 14, 2010
A beautiful piece of writing. So much is said in such a small amount of space. I must say I had to pause for a moment to ask a few questions when I read that they'd been together 77 Christmases previously!

I love when such a moving concept, from which a whole movie could have been made, is able to be communicated so perfectly in a short poem. Is this based on an actual story?

What a beautiful creation! Thanks Damian, reading this totally made my day! :D The highly visual element of this piece is far too rare.

What's with this guy above trying to tell you how to write your poetry? There's no place for right and wrong in art. Some people!
Anyway, I love this piece. The idea of the morning commute as a "brief warmth" is brilliant.
