I was once in pursuit of scholarly achievement, but I fell short of that goal. I don't know if I'm a writer of just a person who gets ideas to join words and sentences together. I hope to write a book one day in addition to publishing a book of poems. I love words,but sometimes I'm not so sure they love me back. They have the power to tear down or build up, encourage or oppress. I love them for their rhythm and flow and the way they sound when I speak them from my mouth. I hope I can add to the beauty that is already in them when I write them out.

This space is sacred for every word or phrase that's ever passed through my mind.
