A very nice poem. I like the construction of the five stanzas. One consideration, you use arms and eyes, and in the last stanza you start to do this, but try to show that both can "hold someone". Ex. Both eyes and arms can cradle someone.
Play with extending the poem and try to intertwine the body parts through similar actions. Hopefully that makes some sense (not sure I explained it very well).

Cliff Dahlbergat an opportunity too subtle to resist by D Conors  Oct 8, 2010
Very impressive, D. Hopefully this is just a poem and not a final letter. It has elements of Plath (more than just the subject matter), sort of reminds me of Lady Lazarus. I think it's the use of imagery combined with repetition at the end.

Cliff DahlbergDrawings for the lost(haiku) by Caroline Patterson  Sep 19, 2010
Caroline, I'm happy to see that someone else writes haiku on here. Short and sweet. A suggestion for your last line, Bringing me back home (instead of yours). Just a suggestion...

Cliff DahlbergA night of nothing by Caroline Patterson  Sep 9, 2010
I like that it is short and sweet. The idea is solid, but have you ever thought about expanding on it? Or trying to make it metered? These would be my suggestions. Otherwise, good idea and solid word choice.

Good twist at the end. It was fun to read out loud, even if the people around me gave me weird looks. Oh well, their loss.

A very well done poem. "I'm hungry for your body, so I starve myself of everything else" - amazing line.
