Poems

Aug 6, 2012

It scorches, shines and beams,
It never fails to stun.
Clouds tear at bulging seams:
Emancipation of the sun.

Golden veil on everything;
Ugliness is hidden well.
To the world the veil tries to cling,
To keep the sun from its empty cell.

Suddenly, the veil lifts
And every flaw is revealed.
The sun and its gifts
Have been stolen and concealed.

Emancipation of the sun
Means nothing anymore.
Cold darkness has won.
The rain begins to pour.
